Ubisoft’s highly anticipated open world hacking game Watch Dogs is just around the corner, with more information being revealed about the game on a regular basis. However, the details regarding to the length of the title, considering it’s a large scale open world game, have been unknown until now. Watch Dogs creative director Jonathan Morin responded to a twitter question regarding the length of Watch Dogs, to which he replied, “I would say the average gamer which does free roam a bit tend to reach the end within 35-40 hours, but doing everything is close to 100 hours.”

This would be relatively consistent compared to many of Ubsoft’s open world titles. Entries in the Assassin’s Creed series have had similar lengths when taking free roaming into consideration. Whether this information comes to fruition for Watch Dogs is something gamers will have to find out for themselves when the game releases. Watch Dogs launches worldwide on May 27 for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. A Wii U release date is still unconfirmed.
