The first DLC to come to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is titled ‘Revelations’ and it centers around Alucard, as revealed by a new trailer. Konami previously revealed that Alucard would be playable in the new DLC, citing that you can “Play as Alucard in this extensive add on for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, the immersive story is expanded further as new branches of the plot are uncovered, along with rich new environments and challenging puzzles.” The trailer features Alucard fighting his way through various locations and interacting with different characters related to the story. The Revelations DLC will be available on March 25 2014 and you can view the new trailer below.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is the latest entry in the action adventure series and the sequel to 2010’s re-imagining of the franchise. Lords of Shadow was well received despite being under the radar, although Mirror of Fate on 3DS, its sequel, was not received that well. Unfortunately, Lords of Shadow 2 gained some very unfavorable reviews, scores which the director of the game was not pleased with. Whether or not this bad feedback will affect the series’ future is unknown, and Konami hasn’t released any information on further DLC for Lords of Shadow 2 just yet. Lords of Shadow 2 is available now for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
