Ubisoft has finally displayed some upcoming exclusive content for the PlayStation 3 and Playstation 4 adaptations of Watch Dogs. The’ White Hat Hacker Outfit,’ as it is labeled, is one of the revealed alternative wardrobe options that can be utilized for Aiden Pearce, however it will only be available as part of an exclusive bundle for the PS3 and PS4. “This content will be available when the game launches on May 27, 2014, and will be downloadable via a ULC code,” said Ubisoft on March the 20th, via post on their official blog.
There will also be more distinctive content available for all you fortunate PlayStation players out there. Watch Dogs will offer up four additional missions for their batch of PlayStation-exclusive content, unlocked and dependent on the player’s choices that are made in-game. Ubisoft comments that, “These missions will deliver 60 minute of gameplay, and will provide even more insight into the mysterious group of hackers who are on the front lines of the fight freedom and security.” So that’s an extra hour on top of the 40-50 hours of gameplay that Watch Dogs has promised for their fans. It’ll also offer up some plot-heavy details you wouldn’t have access to otherwise; which seems like a relatively good deal for PlayStation users.
Oh, and the developers have also been generous enough to give out an upfront hacking boost for every mission that you clear. Bonus tech points will be awarded upon mission completion for PlayStation exclusive-users, if the bundle’s earlier goodies weren’t incentive enough to bounce onto the PS3/PS4 platform.
Ubisoft’s trailer of the ‘White Hat Hacker Outfit’ in action also went live today (seen above), and was also made available on their channel alongside some extra Watch Dogs trailers that you might’ve missed out on. We still have until May 27th to see what else the open world action-adventure game has to offer. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on potential future installments.
Are all you PlayStation users out there happy to be receiving some exclusive content with your purchase of Watch Dogs?
