New Retail Games for Xbox One and its Release Date

by GH Staff

[dropcap size=dropcap]W[/dropcap]e are getting more and more information that developers and publishers are preparing for one of the most expected releases of this year: the Xbox One console. Some of the latest games that are ready to hit the shelves of the stores are, as we can see in the image, Zoo Tycoon, Ryse: Son of Rome, Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5.

About Xbox One

When it was first announced, Xbox One was immediately sent into the bad news category by millions of fans worldwide, due to some unpopular features. Two of these features were the mandated 24 hour online check-in and of course, the restrictions applied on the used games market.

Microsoft however did not choose to ignore the disgruntled gamers and, in an effort to get back in the news with Xbox One, they announced that all the “bad” new features were removed from the final version of the console. The new re-specc’d device will be thus available in stores starting November and as we have already seen, more and more games are already available for it. “The ultimate all in one entertainment system” or the “one system for a new generation”, as Microsoft described Xbox One, will feature the last generation of Kinect and specifications similar to those available in Playstation 4.

Official Xbox One release date

We’ve already mentioned the release as being placed in November, 2013. The official date is however November 22 for US, UK and 19 other countries from all around the world.

Xbox One prices

Xbox is already available for preorders from Amazon, Zavvi in Tesco. The retail price will be $499 in the US, £429 in the UK and $599 in Australia. The controller’s price will be $59.99.
