[dropcap size=dropcap]T[/dropcap]he next generation consoles are now only days away from their big launch. It is no wonder than more and more exclusive games are being announced every day for both, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. One of these games is Angry Birds: Star Wars.
According to sources from the inside, the multiplatform game developed by Rovio, Angry Birds Star Wars will be released for the next gen consoles too. The publisher will be Activision, the same publisher who already launched the game for 3DS, PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U and Xbox 360 yesterday, October 29. The initial game was launched November 8, 2012 for iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Mac and Windows Phone. In Star Wars Angry Birds, the player gets into the shoes of Luke Skywalker. He must fight with Pigs, which are the dark side.
Moreover, the console version of the game will feature 20 new exclusive levels, apart from the initial 200 from the mobile version. Rovio has added also competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes. The PS4 version of Angry Birds: Star Wars will benefit from the DualShock 4 controller’s touchpad precision. The game will also have full support for PlayStation Move in multiplayer and single player modes. On the other hand, Xbox One players will be able to make use of the Kinect 2.0 motion controls and voice commands.
While the Xbox 360 and PS3 editions cost only $39.99, Angry Birds: Star Wars will be available for a price of $49.99 on Xbox One and PS4. The game will be released alongside each new console system on their launch days.
Angry Birds Star Wars 2 is coming to PCs
The second game Angry Birds: Star Wars has just landed on the company’s shop in X86 format for PCs. The story from Angry Birds Star Wars 2 takes place in the same Star Wars Universe filled with characters, plots and scenery inspired from George Lucas’s fantasies. This new title is not free like other titles from the Angry Birds series. In turn, it may be purchased with only $ 5.
