Bad news for all car racing lovers: Evolution Studios-Driverclub publishers have delayed the release date till early 2014. The main reason of this delay is because Sony wants more time to release its perfect PS4 version.
According to worldwide head of Sony studios, Driverclub will be a social connecting and truly innovative game but team needs some time to deliver something breathtaking. He further added that it will definitely surpass gamers’ expectations.
The technology giants-Sony, made Driverclub’s delayed release date announcement just a few weeks before when their next generation console was going to be released in UK. It is the second game delayed by Sony entertainment within a week. Earlier, Watch Dogs was removed from launch lineup.
Though, delay was disappointing but Sony wants to ensure next generation racing vision. Meanwhile, playstation plus edition of Driverclub will be a part of instant games collection after release.
Another bad news is that, initially it was assumed that game will be free for all PS4 users as a bonus incentive for latest needs of PS+ but now it will cost $50 a year. This news hit as a shock to most gamers and especially its followers.
Though, PS4 version is delayed but playstation plus edition is revealed and Evolution Studios announced that this edition will offer discounted upgrades. This will definitely please many game lovers.
A tweet from Driverclub’s designer stated that up till now there is no solid information that whether release date is delayed or not but still Sony has announced that they will release Driverclub with PS4 in early 2014.
