Respawn Entertainment, the developer of the newest online multiplayer shooter Titanfall, have detailed the anti-cheat system they have planned for the game. The studio says that gamers caught cheating will be banned, however can still continue to play.
How is this you ask? Well Respawn entertainment is going to ban cheaters from playing with other honest players, but not other cheaters. Bascially, Respawn is preparing to throw all the cheaters into one pool to cheat to the death.
The way Respawn puts it: “Q.What happens if I get banned from Titanfall? A. Great news: you get to keep playing Titanfall! Less-great news: you only get to play with other cheaters. You can play with other banned players in something that will resemble the Wimbledon of aimbot contests. Hopefully the aimbot cheat you paid for really is the best, or these all-cheater matches could be frustrating for you. Good luck.”
