New Call Of Duty Ghosts Teaser Video Shows An Invisible Enemy

by GH Staff

A teaser video released on Instagram, posted by Infinity Ward, shows a player in the new Devastation map pack, stalked by what appears to be an invisible enemy. This map is set in the jungle and the presence of an invisible player could suggest a Predator themed addition to the map. The post on Facebook contains the caption “If it bleeds…”, a line from the 1987 film Predator. This feature could be in the form of a field order reward for completing a challenge, very similar to the Michael Myers killstreak reward in the Onslaught DLC.

If the Onslaught DLC introduced horror elements and throwbacks to old horror films in the map Fog, then maybe the map Ruins might feature easter eggs from the film Predator or something along those lines. This is all conjecture since Infinity Ward haven’t officially announced what the meaning of this clip is. All may soon be revealed during ‘Devastation Day‘, a IGN live session which will feature 2 hours of gameplay, developer insights and an exclusive new trailer on April 3.

The Devastation map pack is the second downloadable expansion to Call of Duty Ghosts which will include 4 new maps, a new weapon and a new Extinction episode, available on April 3 2014. The previous map pack, Onslaught, is available now and adds 4 new maps, 2 new weapons and adds the Extinction episode Nightfall. You can pick up Call of Duty Ghosts right now for current and next gen platforms.
