Today we go over the iPhone 5c , we look at the battery life, display, camera and design. When looking at phones it’s best to always see which operating system they use and if they’re update to date, this shows the manufacture cares about what they make and always keeping it up to user standards.

Designed like any other mobile device from Apple, the iPhone 5c is sleek in its design and easy to use with one hand even though its size is 4.90 x 2.33 x 035 inches. Moreover with its weight being only about 132 grams, your hand won’t become tired even when extensively used. What makes the device stand out are the plastic casings in various colors that make the smart device perfect for children and teens as well as colorful personalities that love to be different.

As the device comes from none other than Apple, even though aimed at the mid-range low-price market, the iPhone 5c features an Apple A6 chipset and a Dual-core 1.3 GHz Swift processor, backed up by a PowerVR triple-core graphics processor and 1 GB of RAM. Compared to other smart devices on the market the smartphone isn’t as powerful, but as it runs iOS 7 upgradable to iOS 7.1 you will be able to run almost every application on the iTunes market.

Apple usually stands out with smartphones with amazing displays offering the best multimedia experience. However, in order to come at a lower price, the display of the iPhone 5c is a 4.0 inch one with overall pixel density of only about 326 ppi making the maximum screen resolution 640 x 1136 pixels.

The 8MP camera featured on the iPhone 5c is the same one featured on the 5s, being 8MP in size it gives photos of decent quality. Although not perfect, the iSight camera holds well offering you a ton of different modes to capture your life moments in, including panorama and square photos. The LED flash gives the photos a washed out look, because they seem devoid of color saturation, but this fact the camera of the smartphone is still one of the best features of the device as it is also able to capture videos in 1080p and 30 FPS.

The battery of the Apple iPhone 5c is not an upgrade from its predecessor and those who are used to with the average battery life of other products from apple should not be surprised of its endurance of only about 12 hours of normal usage. If you are planning on a longer trip or extensive use, make sure to purchase additional power kits, as the battery life of the device is below average compared to other smartphones on the market today.

Apple have managed to release a great phone for the mid-range market and although it has been seven months since the smartphone’s initial release, the iPhone 5c is still able to compete on the mobile market today. The display is not perfect and its battery life give it an overall endurance time of only 12 hours when normally used, but its camera is able to capture every moment of your life in astounding quality and its hardware power is enough to run almost every application on the iTunes market.
