There are many things that can possibly be created in the sandbox world of Minecraft, and this entire city built on top of an enormous steampunk-themed mechanical turtle is no exception. Welcome to Atropos, ladies and gentlemen.
As reported by Polygon, Atropos’ creator, who’s identified by the username CARLOOO, took five months to complete the project from start to finish. Below you’ll find a showreel CARLOOO put together for YouTube, showcasing their Minecraft creation, and you may be able to appreciate the length of time and effort CARLOOO put into completing their project.
Minecraft’s creator Markus “Notch” Persson recently cancelled a deal with Oculus VR to bring Minecraft to the Oculus Rift, following Oculus’ acquisition by Facebook. Following this cancellation, the CEO of Razer – Min-Liang Tan – offered up the company’s support.
