Recently, Penny Arcade’s Business Manager Robert Khoo tweeted a photo of a Penny Arcade office. In the photo, there is an office wall with four clocks hanging on it. Next to three of the clocks hang logos for each of the Pax locations that are currently in circulation. Those locations are PAX East in Boston, PAX Prime in Seattle, and PAX Aus in Melbourne, Australia. Each of these Pax locations matches the time on the clocks located next to them, which are set to specific time zones. The time zone for the fourth clock, the one with no logo, is set to central time.
This reveal would suggest a new PAX featured in the central time zone, as an earlier photo tweeted by Robert Khoo only featured three clocks. This photo has been tweeted very close to PAX East, which begins on April 11th in Boston. PAX East would serve as a great platform on which to announce an addition to the already existing family of PAX conventions. People may recall that PAX Australia was announced in 2012 at PAX Prime in Seattle.
There are plenty of large cities to choose from in the central time zone. From Chicago and Minneapolis, to Kansas City and Austin, there is no shortage of places to choose from. Will a new PAX reside in one of these or another central location? Keep a lookout for further developments here.
