[dropcap size=dropcap]T[/dropcap]he latest GTA 5 update which is GTA V 1.05 has released yesterday and it is available now for PS 3 and Xbox 360 users. The GTA V 1.05 update has been released in order to address several GTA Online issues such as the lost of progress in the game or the vanishing cars. Therefore, users will have no problem now with the vehicle modifications applied during the gameplay. The latest modifications, as described in the official press release are as following:
- Measures to prevent users from losing their progress while playing online, in case they are facing a cloud outage.
- Measures to protect players’ cash balances even if there are network problems. In other words, the fix will prevent users from losing their cash.
- Fixed an issue where during network problems the players lose their vehicles or their modifications applied to the vehicles after exiting GTA Online.
The official press release from Rockstar also informs all the players about the GTA$ stimulus package that should be distributed in the following days. “The Stimulus will go out over the course of a full day once it’s initiated so don’t be alarmed if people on your friends list receive it before or later than you do” stated the official announcement from the company’s website. According to the press release, developers at Rockstar postponed the release of the GTA$ stimulus package until the small glitches in the game were resolved. As of now, since the GTA V 1.05 update practically solved the game progress loss issues, the company has sufficient motives to release and distribute GTA$ to everyone.
In November, Rockstar will also distribute the “Beach Bum Pack”, the first add-on content update to GTA 5. The DLC will bring new themed vehicles and new weapons for both, the single player Story mode and the GTA Online mode. The pack will also feature new tattoos, hairstyles and new jobs for the online characters.
Rockstar games are currently working on a GTA Online Content Creator. It will also be released during this fall, giving all players the ability to craft, publish and play custom Race Jobs and Death Matches.
