Infamous: Second Son tops PSN’s PS4 sales charts

Well, the title pretty much says it all, and frankly, nobody is surprised that inFamous: Second Son sold the most copies in March 2014 on the Playstation Network. Second Son topped the sales charts, followed by Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (no surprise there either). A lot of AAA titles appear in the top 10, including Eidos Montreal’s Thief and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, which is still doing well despite being launched for awhile. Infamous: Second Son was received with mostly good and even great reviews, and Playstation 4 owners have been looking forward to the exclusive title for a long time now. It’s practically for Sony what Titanfall is for Microsoft and its Xbox One.

Thus, it was expected of Second Son to do well, and so it has. It topped sales charts both in the US and Europe, establishing a solid foothold. It will most likely keep its leading position throughout the month of April too. In the meantime, Minecraft is still dominating sales on the PS. The Minecraft PS3 Edition overtook titles Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and even Dark Souls 2. It will be interesting to see how well Minecraft PS4 will be doing once it’s released this year.
