[dropcap size=dropcap]O[/dropcap]n the official release date, PlayStation 4 will be available on Amazon, in several special packages that will include popular games adapted for the next gen consoles. We know for sure that one of the special packs will include the game Knack at a price of $459.
Knack was developed by the SCE Japan Studio for Playstation 4. It will be released on the same date with the next gen console, November 15 in United States and November 29 in Europe. In Japan, the game will be available for all users that bought the PS 4 console starting from February 22, 2014, as a downloadable content.
Knack is a game that will look and feel like a combination of other three games, Crash Bandicoot, God of War and Katamari Damacy. It will feature “hundreds of secret rooms” full of treasures and secrets as well as many gadgets and crystal objects that will help Knack improve. The game was developed by an experienced team that also worked on popular titles such as Shadow of the Colossus, Ape Escape and God of War III. Therefore, we may expect from it to be a success.
The story of Knack
A – Not so mad – scientist discovers and studies the ancient relics of a long gone civilization. He finds a way to rebuild their original form, by restoring their consciousness. The result is Knack, a creature with mysterious powers that can incorporate the relics as he finds them. All these relics will eventually make him an incredible powerful creature, a giant machine that could destroy everything he stands in the way.
During the game, Knack discovers a new ability, which will enable him to incorporate ice, metal and other substances. Thus, he will be able to improve himself from one level to another. As the mankind is facing an immediate threat from an army of goblins, Knack will prove to be the only hero able to protect them and save them from extinction. As the story develops, we will find that members of the community are a more dangerous threat to mankind itself that all the hordes of goblins Knack fought with in the beginning.
