Some new screenshots have surfaced for Rocksteady’s upcoming next gen only Batman game, Batman Arkham Knight. Previously we got to see the Arkham Knight himself, a new adversary created specifically for the new game, developed by Rocksteady in conjunction with DC Comics. Now, these new screens reveal shots of Oracle, who might play a larger role than in previous games, Commissioner Gordon, the Batmobile (including one very cool shot of it driving across a wall) and Batman’s villains: Riddler, Two Face and the Penguin.
Batman Arkham Knight will be Rocksteady’s biggest project yet, allowing you to traverse a massive rendition of Gotham City, able to drive the Batmobile for the first time and use new gadgets. The Arkham Knight will be Batman’s toughest villain to face thus far, as he not only possesses strength and skill but also the same analytical prowess that Batman himself has. Rocksteady are looking to make this the most engaging Batman experience and we can expect to see more of this game in the coming months. If you pre-order the game, you’ll get to play as Harley Quinn for the first time, in 4 unique challenge maps. Batman Arkham Knight launches for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 14 2014.
