Call Of Duty Ghosts Patch Brings Back Chaos Mode On Xbox Live, PC

by GH Staff

The latest patch for Call of Duty Ghosts included the free addition of ‘Chaos Mode’ to Extinction, a frantic mode where you have to survive as long as possible with an increasing volume of enemies. Chaos Mode was a DLC add-on to Spec Ops in Modern Warfare 3, which took the Spec Ops Survival format and added several new features, making enemies attack you in large amounts. Chaos Mode in Ghosts is along the same lines, but instead of fighting human AI opponents you fight against the various assortment of aliens in Extinction mode. The patch is up right now for Xbox Live and PC, coming to PSN much later on. You can read the full patch notes here.

Yesterday, Ghosts got brought back Soap to join multiplayer in the Soap Legend Pack, along with several other new customization items such as the Snoop Dogg voice pack and new gun camos. Also revealed yesterday was the first image of Call of Duty 2014, an image shown during a GDC 2014 panel with IGN, but IGN wasn’t allowed to unveil the image until yesterday. Sledgehammer Games, who developed 2011’s Modern Warfare 3, is now developing Call of Duty 2014, a game which they call ‘creative’ and ‘ambitious’. We might not be far off from the official reveal of the new game, as Call of Duty games tend to be announced around the end of April or the beginning of May.
