Moreover, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls is available for testing for two days at BlizzCon on the PlayStation 4 consoles. The expansion will include a new Act, a new class – Crusader – from which you can choose your character, weapons, armor, new monsters and new equipment. The level cap will also be raised up to a maximum limit of 70.
The story will develop around Mathael, a fallen angel who posses a powerful object in which the soul of Diablo himself was trapped. Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls promises us a darker environment and a more thrilling story. Mathael, commander of a legion of Angels of Death, uses all his powers to steal the souls of al those who are living in the Sanctuary and to transform the normal people into his followers. The action will take place in Westmarch, a dark place with dark secrets and unimaginable monsters.
The new class of characters, the Crusaders, is being described as an effective war machine. These types of characters will prefer the shield, the mace and some limited magic tricks instead of other battle tools and weapons. The Loot system was modified in order to accustom new legendary items for the chosen character. The number of useless items for a class will also be limited. Thus, each player may obtain an average of sic legendary items.
Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls will be released for Playstation 4 and PC. Xbox fans will however have to wait, as no announcement was made for the future of the Diablo series on the Microsoft’s current or next gen consoles.
