Once every blue moon, Humble Bundle will feature a sale that is borderline unbelievable- especially at the low price of “pay what you want”. Past “super bundles” as I like to call them include Humble Indie Bundle V, The Humble Origin Bundle, The Humble THQ Bundle and The Humble WB Games Bundle. For the next two weeks, Humble Bundle will be hosting their Spring Sale series, complete with daily 24 hr flash bundles. Today’s collection comes from just after the THQ liquidation, as The Hunble Deep Silver Bundle will be live until tomorrow afternoon.
Humble Bundle is primarily a PC-exclusive (Windows/Mac/Linux) service, however the site has since expanded to feature Android apps, e-books and audio-books among the list of bundles. A featured “Humble ____ Bundle” will typically last a little over a week. The catch with these flash sales, is that they are erased from existence after the final day; once that particular sale is over, it’s overĀ for good. Fortunately, that’s going to temporarily change, as Humble Bundle’s “Spring Sale” is currently underway. For the next two weeks, a lost Bundle will be brought back from the depths for a period of 24 hrs. Today’s featured collection is one of their more popular ones, The Humble Deep Silver Bundle.
As with Humble Bundle custom, the price is “pay what you want”. Proceeds can be split, or given all towards either Humble Bundle, a selection of charitable organizations, or the developers/publishers highlighted within the current sale. As long as the buyer pays more than $1, he/she will receive Risen 2: Dark Waters, Risen 2: Gold Edition, Saints Row 2 and Saints Row The Third. By paying more than the average contribution- currently $6.06- five more titles are added to the Bundle. The extra games include Dead Island GOTY, Saints Row The Third: The Full Package, Metro 2033, Risen and Sacred Citadel. Those who pay more than $9 will also receive Dead Island: Riptide – Complete Edition.
During the initial run of The Humble Deep Silver Bundle, Dead Island: Riptide was only available to those who paid more than $25. While most collections feature multiplatform downloads, the Deep Silver Bundle only features the Windows versions of each game, which can be activated through Steam.
Again, the Deep Silver Bundle will only last until tomorrow afternoon, then it’s gone for good….again.
