The Division Delayed To 2015, Update From Dev Team

by GH Staff

Anyone still hoping that The Division will still release in 2014 will sadly be disappointed. An update from the development team of Ubisoft’s upcoming shooter MMO confirms that the game will release in 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The game is being co-developed by Massive Reflections and Red Storm Entertainment and they hope to deliver a solid experience without compromising on quality. Delays can be good for a game, as it allows devs to fully flesh out the experience and deliver the game that they promised. The dev team will show what they’ve been working on so far at this year’s E3 so we can at least expect to see more very soon.

The Division was announced at last year’s E3 press conference, wowing gamers worldwide with its exceptional technology and getting people excited to close a car door in real time. The Snowdrop engine is what makes this game look and play so tremendously and Massive showcased this at the Game Developers Conference 2014. The Division is yet another one of Ubisoft’s big next gen projects, alongside Watch Dogs which launches very soon, Assassin’s Creed Unity which launches in November and The Crew coming later this year as well. With such a strong line-up already, Ubisoft is poised to take the next gen by storm and it will be interesting to see what they release next.
