French developer Exkee has released a new batch of screenshots for their upcoming indie title, Kill The Bad Guy – a release date of May 28 was also announced. The game will be available through Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux. Described simply as “The Bad Guys”, these are criminals have somehow avoided prison sentencing. However an under cover society won’t settle for injustice, therefore they decide to take matters into their own hands.
Whacked by a gigantic wrecking ball – the public will think it was an accident. Just one of the many ways players are able to dispose of the enemy.
At its core, the game is a puzzler, as various traps laid around each level must be triggered in time to kill of any potential bad guys, all whilst avoiding any civilian deaths. It’s not advised to simply kill without thinking, but rather to strategically analyse the layout and plan the method of vengeance beforehand. Each level provides multiple outcomes in terms of how the bad guy is eventually killed, whether it’s an explosion from a leaking gas tank or being the victim of a speeding car.
