We have received many requests since our last Candy Crush Saga post from users asking for specific ways to beat levels on the popular but frustrating iOS and Android game. Today we will note some neat tricks which you may not already know to help you progress through the world of Candy. Candy Crush Saga is as addictive as is fun, but some levels can turn your hair grey in a flash. There’s no reason why you should give up on the game just because some of the levels are frustrating or difficult. Matching Candy
- A striped candy can be created by matching 4 candies of the same color together.
- A wrapped candy can be created by matching 5 candies of the same color in a L or T formation.
- A color bomb is formed by matching 5 candies horizontally or vertically.
- A special candy (one that has been created from the information above) can be combined with another similar candy to create a very powerful combination.
Stuck on a certain level? Players getting stuck on a certain level for extensive amounts of time can use boosters or charms to help pass the level. You can acquire these as a gift by interacting with Facebook friends on the game or by buying them with real money. This is one of the easiest and fastest ways to clear a level. Blockers
- Chocolate – In the early stages of the game, chocolates are blockers that can multiply. Certain levels will begin with a set number of chocolates but for every move that does not clear a chocolate, a new one will spawn.
- Chocolate Fountain – Chocolate Fountains don’t appear until level 156, they differ from normal Chocolate blockers because they can regenerate even when there is no Chocolate left on the level, be careful.
- Bombs – Colored like every other piece of candy on the game – these annoying blockers can lose the game for you. Watch how many moves you have left with the number located on this blocker. The blocker can be cleared by matching it with other colored candy like you do in normal game play.
- Licorice – These swirls take up space where regular candy would go, remove them from the board by making a move next to it.
- Licorice X – This needs to be cleared with either a special candy or a by making a move with the same relative colors within this blocker.
- Meringue – With an icon that looks like ice-cream, this blocker is a really easy one to handle. Simply make a move next to it or clear it with a special candy.
- Multilayer Meringue – Clearing this blocker is very similar to above, but clear it quick because it gains layers throughout the level and will make it harder for you to clear.
- Marmalade – Exact same blocker as Licorice X, just follow the same instructions and this blocker will be gone in no time.
