Game retailer GameStop has listed a Far Cry 4 season pass on their online webstore at a price of $29.99 – no further details have been displayed regarding what the pass actually has in store. Although from previous season passes, it would be safe to assume those who have one will gain free access to all DLC and other various bonus content. Previous series entry; Far Cry 3 had a total of four DLC packs so it’s practically guaranteed Far Cry 4 will get the same treatment, if more. Ubisoft officially announced Far Cry 4 last week, promising more details at this year’s E3 at a media briefing.
The listing makes it clear that the pass will be available upon Far Cry 4’s release in November – however, there is no option for a PC season pass on the website, but this doesn’t rule out the possibility entirely. A brief introduction into Far Cry 4’s storyline was recently discovered, detailing the core reasons why players are exploring the violent country of Kyrat as well as introducing Pagan Min, the main antagonist throughout the game. You can already pre-order the season pass, which will more than likely feature a combination of both single player and multiplayer content.
