Concept Art For Next Hitman Game Revealed

by GH Staff

IO Interactive (IOI) has released a statement today discussing the progress of the next Hitman title, which is still nameless at this point. A detailed piece of concept art (see below) was also included – this stands as the first bit of information made public regarding Agent 47’s next adventure. The statement initially highlights whether the game will be shown off at this year’s E3, which unfortunately it will not: “First up, we’ve seen a lot of people talking about what we might be bringing to E3 this year. We know the worst thing is to hope for something that doesn’t turn up; so we wanted to let you know that our next Hitman is going to be under wraps for a bit longer.

Taking place somewhere in Central Europe, Agent 47 scopes out his surroundings, which are full of civilians and law enforcement. Perhaps it’s the mission to infiltrate the large building and silently kill a target?

Having developed the Hitman franchise since 2000, IOI are confident their next installment will be the greatest game yet, as follows: “We’re focusing all of our time and efforts into creating the best possible Hitman game. That’s our number one priority and we don’t want to divert valuable resources to show something before it’s ready.” Although little is still known, we now know one of the locations is Central Europe and will feature sandbox-like gameplay. Agent 47 is once again fulfilling contracts, which will take players across the globe, so expect to explore a whole host of unique locations along the way. The game will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, although no release date is known as of yet.
