Community lead of Insomniac Games, James Stevenson, has today revealed through the official European Sony blog that Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy will be available for PS Vita on July 2 at a price of €29.99. The compilation will be open to download although those planning on buying a physical copy can do so at most game retailers. Inside this neat bundle will include the original Ratchet & Clank, which was released back in November 2002 exclusively on PS2. The two sequels; Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked & Loaded and Ratchet and Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal are also included – all of which are remastered in HD.

The Ratchet & Clank games have always been visually striking, promising vibrant worlds full of character and atmosphere. Pesky monsters are also included.
Stevenson reinforces his enthusiasm as well as the rest of Insomniac Games in terms of the trilogy being available whilst on the move – something fans have been wanting for a long time seemingly enough:
“Since the HD trilogy was released, one of the biggest requests from many of you was for a version of the Trilogy to come to PlayStation Vita.“
“We’re really excited by how well the PS Vita port of the HD Trilogy has turned out. It looks amazing and is a terrific way to play the classic Ratchet & Clank adventures. We can’t wait for you to get your hands on it and take Ratchet with you wherever you may go.“
