New Sony sale offers PS4 and PS Vita Bundle

PS Vita owners getting regunded up to $50 for misleading ads

Microsoft has recently trimmed the price of its Xbox One (a much needed move, if you ask me), and it was fairly evident Sony would cook something up too. Just a few days before E3 takes off, information has surfaced about a new PS4 bundle. This time, we’re going to get a PS4 bundled up with a PS Vita and some great games, depending on region and availability.

Amazon France (known for its leaks) spilled the beans once again, by posting a product page for a “PS4/PS Vita Ultimate Player Edition” bundle, priced at €579. That’s roughly $788 at today’s exchange rate. If that seems steep, that’s because it is. The PS4 is more expensive in Europe as opposed to the United States (taxes and all that), and is normally sold for €400, which means around $540. The PS Vita is currently being sold for €179.99 (close to $245), which would mean that the bundle costs pretty much the same as buying the two consoles individually. However, at least in Europe, inFamous: Second Son is being thrown into the mix, so basically you’re getting that free.

In the United States, the same bundle has been leaked through Best Buy, and is priced at $560, with a copy of Borderlands 2 for the PS Vita included. While it’s still not a great save, the difference in pricing is considerable.

So, what say you? Is this good enough of a deal to be taken seriously, or a free game is far from enough to justify buying two consoles and spending close to a grand (or half a grand if you’re living in the States)? Sound off in the comment section below!
