Nexus 10 2 Rumors – Price, Specs, Release Date

by GH Staff

Promising to be one of the most expensive mobile devices launching this year, the Google Nexus 10 2 needs to offer quite a lot for the hefty estimated price-tag of $1,000 (or beyond). It’s certainly going to be an eye-catcher and attention magnet, but is there more to the device than hype and expectations? We take a look at what the Google Nexus 10 2 promises to bring in order to justify its ridiculous cost.

Don’t expect the Nexus 10 2 to be arriving any time soon though. From all accounts, mass-production of the new model will begin sometime in late July or early August, which means the Nexus 10 2 will be landing sometime during the winter Holidays or late fall at the earliest. Hardware-wise, it’s a safe bet to assume the Nexus 10 2 will be getting the new Nvidia Tegra 4 processor. Since Google and HTC are aiming for the best of the best, it’s unlikely they will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, there’s just so much to squeeze out of that.

In other aspects, expect 3GB of Ram in the Nexus 10 2. Also expect a high-resolution display with around 300 PPI. The likely resolution of the Nexus 10 2 will be 2560 x 1600p, which is impressive for a portable device. Add to that 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage and a huge, 9500 mAh battery, and we’re looking at a powerhouse device indeed. The Nexus 10 2 aims to be an insanely powerful piece of tech, but unfortunately, we’ll have to wait awhile longer to get our hands on it!
