Tom Clancy’s division is a highly anticipated game coming 2015, this cover to cover open world stealth shooter is based on a post apocalyptic New York city. Massive the developer has some news for us.
David Polfeldt, the managing director of Massive said to GameSpot in an interview that the developers of the game are pondering on the idea of running the game on 30 second per second here’s what they said.
I think we’re shooting for 30fps because it’s a trade-off, right? Graphical fidelity and immersion are more important to us than the frame rate. If we go for 60fps, we’ll have to make a trade-off on fidelity and other things.
But because we want to have very, very complex destruction and extremely detailed environments; a complete weather system, full day/night cycle…at some point you have to make up your mind: where do you invest? And for us, it’s going to be 30fps.
now many gamers will be confused why developers are still doing this for 30fps with the next gen consoles myself, what about the resolution?
David simply said I dont know
hmm
okay the game does look great from what we have seen so maybe there is hope for 30fps.
the division has had its time at e3 and trailers are looking good and from other sources plays good, but never the less the division couldn’t come any more quicker… and these are my reasons why
The sense of scale, this game is going to be huge and i have a feeling we have only had a snippet of really how huge this game is
Two reasons in this picture, no matter how huge this game is, you still get a sense of claustrophobia while inside these buildings
also that lighting wow!
Now weather its a gimmick I personally still think this is pretty amazing, using a tablet to be a drone and help you friends out.
the division will be released sometime 2015
