In a recent interview with GamingBolt, Bruno St. Andre, the level designer for Assassin’s Creed Unity, talked about the team’s target resolution and frames per second on both the Xbox One and Playstation 4. At first, he claimed he did not know or was not sure of the targets set for Assassin’s Creed Unity.
But, he eventually let up, claiming that the team working on the development of Assassin’s Creed Unity will be targeting a 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second on the Xbox One and PS4.
But we all need to remember that this is simply a target, something they would like to do, but may not be able to. So, don’t be suprised if Assassin’s Creed Unity fails to run at 1080p and 60 fps on both platforms. As you may recall, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag ran at 900p on the Xbox One, while at 1080p on the PS4 after a patch.
Assassin’s Creed Unity releases October 28th, 2014 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
So, what do you guys think? Will the developers of Assassin’s Creed Unity be able to pull this off? Do you really care about 1080p? Leave your thoughts below. And remember, stay tuned to Gamer Headlines for all of your Assassin’s Creed Unity and gaming news!
