Prior to E3, rumors were circling around the net about Sony announcing a bundle that would include a PS4 and PS Vita. Given the popularity of the Vita’s Remote Play features with the PS4 one would think this would be a wise move on Sony’s end right?
While there was no announcement of the bundle at E3, Sony’s head of worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida told Polygon “Never say never.” Yoshida also made mention of the previous bundles between Bravia TV’s and PS3 systems as a reminder that Sony is always open to these ideas.
The PS Vita could definitely use a sales boost given it’s lack of presence at this years E3. With the PS4’s popularity at a major high right now, Sony should consider this bundle given the shared features between the two being such a hit among consumers and not to mention the benefits of having a PS Plus subscription with various Sony gaming systems.
