Grand Theft Auto V is the latest installment in the GTA franchise series, it is one of the most ambitious games that has been created by Rockstar Games and thus has been the result of much anticipation. The game is available on multiple platforms such as PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and of course Xbox One.
There has been a lot of commotion recently in regards to GTA 5 cheats, are players of the online game really exploiting the game for the sole purpose of personal gain? The answer, unfortunately, is yes… many players have been reported of cheating by falsely generating and distributing excessive amounts of money which has led to the game being disrupted for many other players.
Even though players have been caught cheating on the game, the developer [Rockstar Games] really take the players into consideration and have done everything in their power to prevent the cheating from happening. Recently they solved the issue regarding the generation and distribution of false in-game money through the means of a title update. The counterfeit money has been removed from the game but players who received the money unknowingly from other players have not suffered any punishment, apart from the money being removed from their account. Those who actively participated in the cheating have suffered consequences and have been placed in dedicated ‘cheater pools’, some have even been banned from the game completely.
In addition to the above, Rockstar Games have also reported that they will be continuously issuing updates on a regular basis in order to ensure that the game is enjoyable for all players. To aid the developers in their quest of keeping the game free from cheats and hacks, ensure that you report any players who you suspect to be exploiting the game. This can be done through the means of the in-game reporting feature; find the player’s name after clicking on the ‘Online’ tab, scroll to their name and click report – simple!
