Even thought the release date of Planetside 2 for PS4 is still unknown we now know that Sony wants to do something special for players making the switch from PC to PS4. Now what the surprise is still unknown but we do know players will receive something special for bringing the ongoing fight for Auraxis to the next gen system. Planetside 2 which has been available on PC since late 2012 is a first person shooter MMO where three factions fight for control of a single planet in an ongoing war.
This title was announced as a title for the console along with PS4, many gamers cant wait to trade in their keyboards for the dual shock 4 or for others this will be their first time playing. This is a free MMO with the options to buy weapons but everyone is equal from the begging gaining access to everything from your first match on. The game is said to release in the next six months and will free to play even without PlayStation plus.
