With the turtles coming back to the big screen this summer, Activision has announced a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for the Nintendo 3DS. The game will be based off the movie and will developed by Magic Pockets, developers of past TMNT games, Mini Ninjas, House of the Dead: Overkill, and Harry Potter games on the GBA, to name a few.
The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game will feature all four of the turtle brothers being playable and having the ability to switch charters on the fly. The game will feature a hack-and-slash, quick-moving, 3rd person view type gameplay. The turtles can be upgraded and gain new equipment when visiting the turtle’s lair. Each turtle will also have different perks from having Raph’s strength to Mikey’s speed and agility.
The turtles had their pizza and are ready for a new adventure. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will launch on August 8th for the Nintendo 3DS and it will launch alongside the film it’s based on.
