Unfortunately the hotly anticipated (at least for fans of the series) One Piece: Unlimited Red will be delayed in North America for the PlayStation Vita. The release date for the PS3, 3DS and Wii U versions of the game is the 8th July in North America. However the Vita version has been pushed back until July 14th for the day one exclusive GameStop edition which features extra DLC that includes 10 extra costumes and 1 extra mission. The digital version of the game will be released the day after on July 15th
It’s strange as One Piece: Unlimited World Red was released in Europe on all platforms last week and it in fact sits in my Vita as we speak. It’s been a blast so far and the cel shaded graphics look brilliant on the Vita. So fear not One Piece fans, the wait will be worth it. It is an action RPG that follows a new and unique story set in the weird and wonderful One Piece universe and features a number of epic boss fights against well know villains of the series. The voice work and music is true to the series and makes for an authentic One Piece experience.
