Recently Samsung and Sony, the two leading electronics manufacturing companies released their different versions of tablets. There appears to be a superiority showdown between Samsung Galaxy NotePro 12 and Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet. There are similarities and sharp differences between the two tablets in their design, features, and functions. Sony is the lightest of ten inch tablets every produced. It weighs 426g, which is less than a pound. Samsung on the other hand is more than forty percent heavier than its Sony counterpart is. The difference in weight and size is significant as the Sony product is more portable.

Design

Sony Xperia is generally regarded as a well-crafted slate because of its Omni balance design. It has monotone colors, sharp corners, as well as signature accents resembling a circular power key. For their pixel density, Sony product is 224ppi, Samsung tablet has 247ppi pixel density; Samsung has a better pixel density. Although the two products are durable, Sony is more durable with an additional waterproof and dust resistant feature. Two tablets have a front camera of almost the same megapixels. Their rear camera has slight differences. Samsung has a rear camera of 8 megapixels and a single LED flash while Sony has a rear camera of 8.1 megapixels. Samsung has a battery size of 9500mAh as against Sony’s 6000mAh; this shows that Samsung has a bigger battery size. Samsung connects using a micro USB 3.0 as against Sony’s standard Micro USB; this also shows that Samsung tablet has a better connector.

The two tablets are equipped with almost the same hardware, but there are huge differences between them in several areas. While the major emphasis on Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12 is to provide a multi functionality product by enhancing its screen size and using the stylus, Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet tries to make computing more mobile. Depending on what you want to achieve, each product would serve your purpose.
