GTA 5 DLC in the works

by GH Staff

Rockstar has announced that it is currently working on adding new content for both GTA 5 and GTA Online. The DLC’s are due to come out next year, and will include Online heists, where players can pull off co-operative heists together, and new story mode updates, focusing on Michael, Trevor and Franklin.

Rockstar will be releasing a new competitive team mode in December called Capture. The mode will focus on team versus team battles in a sort of capture-the-flag style, all of course adjusted to the world of Grand Theft Auto. Capture will be divided into four variations, namely Raid, Contend, Hold and GTA. Details on what the major differences between these variations will be are unknown yet. Still, we know we’ll get to steal contraband, trucks and other valuable stuff from our opposing teams, and the mode will enable up to four squads to battle it out.

Lastly, in the more imminent future (this week), Rockstar will be launching the Deathmatch & Race Creators tool-set, a tool-set that will enable community members to create their own races and bloodbaths. These fan-made jobs can be posted online, and the best ones will be awarded the “Rockstar Verified Jobs” title and will be shared to the entire community. This tool-set is in a beta stage though, so make sure you’re prepared to report any and all bugs and help the devs polish it out.
