The Samsung phone features android while Lumia comes from windows phone category. If you are flexible using both, check out the specs to differentiate. There is no doubt that both these phones are excellent for business use and have ingrained business features within them.
Samsung Galaxy Ace 4
This phone is expected to release in July 2014. Everyone is anticipating great deals from this phone. Right now we know it has some unique features which go very well with our requirements.
Design & Display
This phone has an ample 4.78 x 2.48 x 0.43 inches dimension. It weighs only 123 g. with a 233 pixels per inch density on its 4 inch screen makes it brighter to say the least. Only multi touch feature has been included. It lacks a Gorilla glass protection feature.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
This phone only allows basic 2G and 3G connectivity options. Internal 4GB memory with a 512MB RAM is quite okay in this prince range. The camera has ‘face and smile detection’ feature. The 5 mega pixel camera captures photos on LED flash technology. It has only 1GHz Dual core processor. It has a Li-ion 1500 mAh battery. Given its Android KitKat Os version, we would have expected a much better battery feature than that.
Nokia Lumia 1020
This phone has been released in July 2013. This is one of the most sought after Windows phones in the market. Part of the credit goes to its colorful design and unique presentation. It has some extremely cool features as well.
Design & display
An AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 16M colors makes it stand apart from Ace 4. It is also featuring PureMotion HD display and supports Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on its screen. This phone has a noticeably higher 332 pixels per inch resolution density, much higher than Ace 4. Weighing 158 g, a little higher than Ace 4, but having an almost similar screen as it, this phone does quite well.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
The sound system is also supported with Dolby Digital sound support system. It has a 32 GB internal memory with 2 GB RAM – much greater than Ace 4 provides you with. This phone also supports 4G connectivity. It has 7 GB free sky Drive storage. It supports all the features which are required for business environment. It has a highly specialized 41 mega pixels camera. This phone works on a Windows 8 platform.
Overall
Lumia 1020 is visibly better than Ace 4 in terms of specifications but this phone is also a bit more expensive than Ace 4. Given that they are almost equal in terms of price range, Lumia 1020 is a much better performing phone than Ace 4. Go for Ace 4 only if you have biasness towards Android, otherwise Lumia 1020 is a better option.
