It is true that Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and Nexus 5 both are quite well at features and performance and have almost similar price range but those who are confused at making a clear choice among the two, here is a comparison.
Design
Both the tablets are identical with just a few differences. Galaxy Tab 2 is 7.65 inches tall, 4.82 inches wide and 0.41 inches thick. While on the other hand, Nexus 5 is 5.43 inches in stature, 2.72 inches wider and 0.34 inches thick. Screen size is 7 for Galaxy tab and 4.95 inches for Nexus.
When it comes to the weight of the both devices, Tab 2 has got 345 g of weight while the Nexus 5 is 130 g only.

Display and Camera
In terms of display, Galaxy is lagging behind the Nexus because Tab 2 has 1024 x 600 resolutions (170 ppi) but the other has 1920 X 180 resolutions (445 ppi).
