The Destiny Beta begins! (PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4)
If you weren’t lucky enough to get into the Destiny Alpha then you might have a chance to get into the Beta. That is, however, if you pre-ordered the game or have a friend generous enough to give you one of their spare codes. The Beta is definitely going to be a lot of fun and is definitely needed as there aren’t many new things to enjoy on either console in the FPS genre. Although the new Battlefield 4 DLC came out, Dragon’s Teeth, this Tuesday the beta will definitely be a change of pace and will be enjoyed by a lot of FPS fans. As Bungie prepares to launch its next franchise since Halo. I am, as many others, looking forward for this September and I cannot wait to see what the final product is like.
Personal thoughts:
As well as my beta access I was also part of the alpha test and I can honestly say that this game is going to be HUGE. The Alpha was only a small portion of the game and so is the beta and if I can literally explore whatever I want, like they said, this game will possibly be my favorite game of this year. I can always count on Bungie to make a great game… I mean after all it is them who got me into the FPS genre to begin with. I really like the path they chose and even though it’s a different experience it’s still very clear that they’re Bungie and they still know how to make a pretty damn amazing game. Destiny will be a huge hit and will give every other FPS this year a run for it’s money, whether it’d be the juggernaut franchise Call of Duty or an amazing single player FPS game like Far Cry 4 I can assure you that Destiny will stand tall next to them and might even come out victorious. If other FPS developers want a standing chance this year I suggest they step their game up because Bungie is back and they’re ready to take over the world again!
