LEGO: The Hobbit – Announcement trailer revealed

by GH Staff

With The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug hitting cinemas world-wide this weekend, developer TT had decided it was the right moment to release their own trailer for the upcoming Lego game, LEGO: The Hobbit. The game is set to release in 2014, at an unknown date as of yet, on most major platforms – Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Wii U, PC and Mac. The content will vary slightly among platforms.

The games will obviously be set in Tolkien’s well-known fantasy universe, and will follow the adventures of Bilbo Baggins and his companions. LEGO: The Hobbit will also be based on the first and second Hobbit films, An Unexpected Journey and Desolation of Smaug, but will not cover the events of the final movie in the saga, There and Back Again. The game uses audio files ripped from the movies themselves for dialogue, which means you’ll be hearing the familiar voices of Ian McKellen or Martin Freeman for the most part.
