You probably haven’t seen the children yet because you haven’t played Rogue Legacy; this role-playing game features a brave hero who may suffer from a terrible fate at any time during the campaign through Castle Hamson and more. Even though this armor-wearing protagonist seems like any regular cliche knight, this fortunate individual has numerous descendants (who unfortunately inherited some imperfect genetics such as blindness, dyslexia, etc.) at least coming quickly to the rescue. Genetics may not always produce the best quality genes, but each die-hard successor are wiling to charge right into the action with a sword throughout the two-dimensional platform levels.

Besides Castle Hamson, players will also venture across the forest, Maya, and darkness before fighting the final boss. Of course, each section contains lesser important bosses too, but they’re not considerably valuable since they don’t leave written diaries like the head honcho. As you might have guessed at this point, Cellar Door Games, the gaming studio behind this amusing game, has created a memorable project that cannot easily be forgotten. With its fun atmosphere, are you willing to experience this fun title on a personal computer or MAC? You can, this masterpiece is available through multiple download links on Rogue Legacy‘s official website.

For those who wish to experience this enjoyable package on a gaming console, Cellar Door Games announced that this enormous family tale arrives as a digital downloadable content in North America on July 29th, 2014. Europeans who have the same wishful thinking will receive it as well on July 30th.  All buyers purchasing at least one digital copy will receive the same title on all three platforms: PlayStation 3, PS4, and PS Vita.

Why does acquiring this title matter in terms of having it on multiple systems?  Because surprise-surprise, players can save on any electronic device and pick up where they left off on any system. Meaning, this cross-platforming entity welcomes any picky gamer and his/her friends to show-off without leaving anyone out, including siblings. Love’em or hate’em, these blood-related relatives may even avenge you with a sword one day!
