PlayStation 3 and 4 users are able to purchase a special collector’s edition of Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes upon release on September 23. Disney Infinity’s executive producer; John Viccnochi made the announcement via the official PlayStation blog, with seemingly no information on a Vita version. This edition is to include the Infinity Base featuring a gigantic Frost Beast alongside various Avengers-based figurines – Thor, Iron Man, and Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Hulk. In normal circumstances, Hulk is only available some time after the game’s initial release, but the collector’s edition means users are able to grab him from day one.
Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes will contain much loved Disney and Marvel franchises such as The Avengers, Spider Man, Maleficent, Brave, Lilo & Stitch, and Peter Pan – a combination of two very different worlds, providing a unique sense of gameplay. Vicconichi seems pleased with the outcome, as follows:
