EA has revealed some more player ratings for the upcoming Madden NFL 15 and it’s keyed in on the quarterbacks and running backs of the league. The top of the list includes none other than Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos and Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings.
In the quarterback department, you’ll find that Manning takes a 98 overall rating alongside Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints follow right behind at a 96 overall rating and Tom Brady received a 93 overall. To top off the top 5 list, Russell Wilson, Super Bowl Champion quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks sitting at a 93 overall. That’s a ballsy move to put Tom Brady and Russell Wilson together, considering Russell Wilson has only one stellar season to prove for himself, while Tom Brady seems to be the clutch quarterback of the later generation. We’re just hoping we don’t see another Ben Roethlisberger that makes a slow decline over time.
In the running back department, Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings leads with a 98 overall rating with LeSean McCoy of the Phildelphia Eagles right behind at a 97. Jamaal Charles of the Kansas City Chiefs also ties with a 97 overall, while Matt Forte of the Chicago Bears and Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks top off the list at 95 overall. This seems like the more accurate rating, considering the consistency of these running backs and the type of play they’re bringing to the field. Not to say that any of the quarterbacks were wrong because Peyton Manning should definitely be at the top, but as with any of the games, it’s all a matter of opinion.
EA Sports is on a tight schedule of revealing the player ratings every single day before August 5th, when the entire list for Madden NFL 15 will be available online. We’re all very excited to see where are players are going to stack up, as well as how the teams will be overall.
