Here are two phones which have been highly acclaimed by the populace in general. Even though both these phones are based on Android OS, both of them flaunt their own flagship oriented specifications. Can Galaxy S5 LTE-A beat HTC One mini 2 in all aspects?
Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A
This phone was announced shortly after the release of S5 and is yet to hit the markets. As per the company speculations there are pretty much high end specifications that it promises. But the real is question is whether the phone will surpass the performance of its predecessors or not.
Design & Display
The phone features a high resolution 5.1 inch display. With over 500 pixels per inch resolution on its screen, this phone will literally glow in the dark! The phone model is quite similar to S5. However it seems like the phone is having wider edges than its predecessors. It has Super AMOLED multi touch screen with is well protected with scratch resistance technology.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
This is a water resistant phone with 2800 mAh battery support. You get a 2.5 GHz high end Quad core processor which runs smoothly based on 3 GB RAM. The built in storage is 32 GB but it can be expanded with an extended memory slot of 128 GB. High resolution 16 mega pixels camera is well equipped with features such as LED flash, auto focus, HDR, high quality video recording. The front camera is 2.1 mega pixels which is pretty good.
HTC One mini 2
This phone is another from the HTC One series even though it is much smaller in size compared to the original one. We can say that this is a value phone with all the features almost up kept. Will this be enough to beat S5 LTE-A? Let’s find out.
Design & Display
The design is much smaller chassis than the original M8. It sports a 4.5 inch display which is comparatively smaller than S5 LTE-A. The resolution of this phone is almost half that of S5 LTE-A but it’s still much brighter considering that it is over 300 pixels per inch in density. This S-LCD 2 screen has light and proximity sensor but lacks scratch resistance unlike S5 LTE-A.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
The high resolution 13 mega pixels camera is equipped with Back illumined sensor and geo tagging feature. All this is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core processor which is higher though, but is way lower than S5 LTE-A’s 2.5 GHz. The built in storage capacity is 16 GB, double that of the latter. It has 2100 mAh battery capacity – considerably lower than S5 LTE-A.
Overall
It is of no doubt that the Samsung phone when released will provide us with a lot more features than HTC One mini 2 does now. So it is genuinely a better choice amongst the two.
