Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3

The Samsung Galaxy Mega has a 6.3 inch TFT display with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels. It has a color depth of 16 million colors. It is equipped with a dual core processor that has a CPU speed of 1.7 GHz. The super fast processor allows the phone to play HD videos and 3D games without any hitches.

The phone has a standard 3200 mAh battery which has a video playback time of 10 hours, music playback time of 87 hours and 18 hours of talk time. It has a 1.5 GB ram which when combined with the fast processor and large screen display allows for the best web browsing, movie viewing and image viewing. It has an internal storage capacity of 16 GB which can be extended with a micro sd upto 64 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega has a 1.9 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and auto focus for capturing best moments. The Android 4.2.2 (jelly bean version) OS runs in the phone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

The Galaxy Note 2 has a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 by720 pixels. It is equipped with a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor which enables faster web browsing, multi-tasking and 3D game playing. It has 2 GB ram which makes multi-tasking easier. The storage capacity varies between 16 GB and 64 GB depending on the model. It has support for storage extension using a micro sd card up to 64 GB.

It has 1.9 MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash for capturing beautiful moments. The Galaxy Note 2 is optimized for use with a stylus pen. The stylus pen allows for email handwriting capability, paper artist capability, shape match capability and quick command among others.

The phone runs the Android 4.1 OS also codenamed Jellybean.

In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy Mega has a larger display and faster processor at 1.7 GHZ than the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The Galaxy Note 2 has a larger ram at 2 GB and is optimized for a stylus pen. Both gadgets have similar cameras, similar storage size and similar resolution.
