Each of these phones has some unique features which offers you excellent bang for the buck. Both these phones are based on Android platform. Even though Nexus 4 was released much earlier it still has some features which could compete with the new phones in the market, so will it surpass Acer’s phone? Let’s see.
LG Nexus 4 E960
On an overview we can easily tell that LG has assembled the features of this phone quite smartly. The Zero gap touch technology enables the users to read its screens efficiently under sunlight. This is one of the top notch features.

A 318 pixel per inch screen resolution on 4.7 inch screen is quite a thing. It has a scratch resistant glass with light and proximity sensors enabled. This phone weighs only 139 grams and the dimensions are quite sleek too. Look wise this phone is quite petite.

It has an 8 mega pixels rear camera with LED flash, back illumined sensors, auto focus and such regular camera-related features. It even allows high definition video recording. We get a decent 1.3 Mega pixels front camera too. The 1.5 GHz Quad core processor is backed by a 2 GB RAM which should be ample for it to run smoothly on an Android Kit Kat forum. Acer Liquid E700
This phone is based on Android AcerFLOAT UI. This is a very good budget range phone but how good is it compared to Nexus 4?

It weighs more than 155 grams, a bit more than Nexus 4. The phone is a 5 inch screen which gels easily with its flat dimension. It has a 294 pixel per inch screen resolution which is much higher than Nexus 4 for that matter. It has light and proximity sensor featured on its IPS LCD screen.

To start with, this phone has a 3500 mAh battery which already gives it an edge above Nexus 4. We get a 1.3 GHz Quad core processors along with 2 GB RAM – so the capacity is quite similar to that of Nexus 4. An 8 mega pixels camera along with LED, auto focus and geo tagging are just about enough if you are not a photography enthusiast. The front camera is also very adequate at 2 mega pixels.
Overall
On all fronts the Acer Liquid E700 is better than the LG Nexus 4 E960 except the camera feature. Therefore if you want a camera centric phone you may choose the latter otherwise the performance capacity of both phones is quite similar. On the battery front the E700 is a big scorer.
