The PlayStation version of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is only a few weeks away. Today, PlayStation detailed what was coming with the release, including some exclusive PlayStation themed hats.
” The team wanted to do something special for all of the PlayStation fans,” wrote developer Chris Fox in a PlayStation Blog post, “So we’ve created a batch of exclusive hats based on some of our favorite PlayStation characters.” Exclusive hats include a Ratchet hat, a Sly Cooper hat, and a digital-only exclusive Fat Princess hat.
In addition to the Exclusive announcement, the blog post contained a PlayStation specific video detailing, among other things, a new split screen mode utilizing the PS Vita. Watch the video below:
PS3 and PS4 owners have been looking forward to Garden Warfare since the game released on Xbox and PC earlier this year. The game takes the popular PvZ franchise and turns it into a Team Fortress-esque multiplayer 3PS experience. In the standard game, Plants must defend bases against encroaching Zombies; however, unlike the standard game, Plants and Zombies are both mobile combatants. The game also features a robust card collection system for gaining rare characters and items.
