Earlier today, Microsoft issues a “service alert” for Xbox Live users (Xbox 360 and Xbox One) due to problems with the service affecting many customers.
The services affected include:
- Accessing all game features
- Capturing game videos
- Joining other friends in online games
- Managing friends list
- Tracking friends games progress
- Posting/viewing game performance
Not only are users experiencing trouble with Xbox Live, Microsoft has also said some Xbox 360 users are getting stuck on a black screen when going to launch games or apps. Microsoft says it is rigorously investigating the issue, so keep an eye out for the Xbox Live service page for updates from Microsoft.
Xbox Live has seen its share of issues, but the stability of its service is one of the best in the gaming market when compared to PSN which goes down constantly. So the issues seen today are not shocking, still no less irritating.
