On August 14th, 2014 at 9:30 AM PDT, World of Warcraft will be releasing their next expansion Warlords of Draenor very soon. We’ve asked how soon, but gotten the answer to a giant release party event. This will be located in Los Angeles at the Theater at Ace Hotel , near a lot of Blizzard’s main headquarters. Blizzard’s Mike Morhaime, Chris Metzen and World of Warcraft designers Ion Hazzikostas and Brian Holinka will be present at the event to reveal all footage and upcoming details for Warlords of Draenor.
August 14th will show off a gathering of World of Warcraft players, almost similar to a convention, in order to release some new cinematic footage of the game’s expansion as well as reveal the release date for this expansion. As a bonus for those who show up in person, players will receive a free beta key for Warlords of Draenor. Some fans are upset that they won’t be able to go due to it’s location, but as we all know, Blizzard can’t be everywhere at once.
Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis, which to me means that the event is free. Also we’re going to see people lining up at least three days in advance. We wonder if we’re going to see some overcrowding at the event and if the Livestream is going to be worth giving a peek. The party seems like a lot, but to those who play the World of Warcraft expansion packs, it may be well worth it.
Warlords of Draenor will be boasting their new world Draenor, up to level 90 characters boosts, and delving into the past of the Iron Horde. Rare item drops will come from completion of the multiple quests in this town. The final big update is garrisons. These garrisons will allow players to create a home base for safety and establish trade routes. It’s almost like a mini city within a city!
We’ll be waiting for the release date to be revealed, but until that time, we’ll be checking over the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor details.
Are you going to the World of Warcraft Warlords of Draenor Release Party? Will you be watching the party on stream? I’d love to know your feedback in the comments below!
