An Xbox One bundle with Madden NFL 15 is going to be released on August 26th. EA Sports and Microsoft reached an agreement to make this bundle happen. For $399 you’ll receive the Madden NFL 15 digital download code, special Madden NFL 15 packaging, Three Ultimate Team Pro Packs and the Xbox One, along with headset and controller. This Xbox One bundle will be part of the new bundles that are “Kinect” less and will receive the lower price.
Madden NFL 15 is all about the defense this year, bringing new camera angles, new pass rushing tools, and new tackling strategies for taking down the ball carrier. They’ve also amped up the presentation mode, with new commentary, pre-game shows and halftime commentary to make the player truly immersed in the game. If you’re into Madden’s Ultimate Team series, they’ve amped up a lot of the major components of the game to benefit first-time players. A new student gauntlet allows the first-time players to build their skills and learn about the game’s controls quickly.
This offer extends until August 26th, but players will have to order by 2 PDT on August 22nd to ensure the bundle makes it on time. The most interesting part about the bundle is the digital download key. You will receive the full game, but not the packaging. This could be the new transition into losing the physical copies of games to get the cheaper price. Recently, Microsoft had the Xbox One price lowered to $399 for a bundle without a Kinect. It looks like Microsoft will be competing with Sony over who will have the better deal on Madden NFL 15’s release. Whatever the case, we are hoping for some quality gameplay from the consoles as opposed to a competition for the best price.
Madden NFL 15 will be the first game after Madden’s 25th anniversary and will hope to dazzle all players with the next-gen console graphics and processing power. If you’re into Madden, you may want to consider picking this game up.
