By the way we’re also getting DLC skins for characters
Amongst other things, this weeks Nintendo Direct revealed a bunch of new characters for Hyrule Warriors. These characters are Midna, Agitha and Zant from Twilight Princess along with Ghiriham and of course the series main villain Ganondorf.
Fans will be pleased to see that Midna will still be riding a wolf.
Staying with the new characters Nintendo Direct announced that were from Twilight Princess, you’ll be able to play Midna, Agitha and the games main boss Zant.
Starting with Midna someone has cast a spell on her to turn her into back into her Twilight Princess form. When playing as her you’ll be using a wolf to navigate around the battlefield and Midna herself seems to have taken some lessons from Bayonetta as she uses her hair to attack. Meanwhile Agitha will be using her trusty parasol to attack and lives up to her title as the bug princess to summon “her favourite bugs to attack”.
Finally from the Twlight Princess game we’ll get to play as the Usurper King himself Zant. Zants unpredictable personality from the game has been brought into Hyrule Warriors because along with his scimitars he’ll also be able to summon what looks like a giant version of his head and grow massive to Goomba Stomp his enemies.
Speaking of the bad guys, players have been asking for him to be in the game since Hyrule Warriors was announced and Nintendo Direct has confirmed that Demon Lord Ghirahim will be playable and his just as insane as we remember. Along with fighting with his sword Ghirahim will also use magic and will go all out into his darker form and can be used as an area attack when your surrounded.
For those of you that didn’t stick around till be end of Nintendo Direct missed out on the final reveal for the video which revealed that Ganondorf is back and now his armed with two great swords, well this game is based on Dynasty Warriors. Like you’d expect from Ganondorf his fighting style is based entirely around powerful destructive attacks with both his swords and his magic which includes summoning a shadow monster to slap everything in front of your away.

Hyrule Warriors is due out in Europe on September 19th and in North America on September 26th.
